A.C. Edwards
Action Thriller Writer
A.C. Edwards writes with the authenticity of someone who has lived close to the shadows. A former policeman, paratrooper, and Special Forces officer, he served with the Australian Army across Southeast Asia and the South Pacific with attachments to the Malaysian and Indonesian armies, later retiring as a Major.
His career after the military took him further into the world of risk and secrecy – working as a security adviser across the region, a close-protection specialist, and a contractor in the Middle East and Afghanistan. Most recently, he held the post of Regional Security Director for Asia Pacific in a multinational firm.
He now channels this wealth of experience into crafting novels that explore espionage, betrayal, and the uneasy border between loyalty and survival.
Born in Singapore and long based in Asia, Edwards brings to his fiction a deep sense of place and an eye for the ambiguities of power. He now divides his time between Hong Kong and Brisbane, where he lives with his wife, a spirited dog, and a rescue cat.
Readers of le Carré, Greene, and other masters of literary espionage will find in his work the same quiet tension and moral complexity – stories where intrigue and betrayal linger long after the final page.

The Books
Gripping Action Thrillers
A.C. Edwards writes action-thriller novels set in Hong Kong and other locations across Asia Pacific. He has taken decades of experience in some of the world's hottest trouble spots and, with an eye for detail and a natural gift for 'spinning a yarn', given the reader access to a way of life most could never imagine.
His books are authentic, gritty and, at times, confronting. His portraits of flawed and all-too-human characters are unsparing and believable, and the action is true-to-life, sudden and violent.
This is life on the mean streets of Asia's biggest cities, as told
by a master storyteller.
